Each pedal is build by hand from the ground up by the duo that is Butterfly Effects. Their meticulous attention to detail and improvement on old circuits is why we own several pedals from them.

What a beauty! I've made Danger Birds in white and in plain metal with dymo labels, but I'm loving the aqua look. I am a sucker for 'surf' colours though.

I just realised that it's been a while since I posted an update. How did it get to be half way through January already? I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. I enjoyed a bit of a break myself, which explains my lack of updates recently.

The facebook competition went well and the winner is now in possession of their very own Butterfly Effect Pedals t-shirt. Thanks to everyone who liked, entered and most importantly shared the facebook competition and page, to help spread the word. It's much appreciated. We're up to 520 likes now!

I have quite a few orders at the moment, which is great. It's keeping me busy and out of mischief. Work in progress pics below. 
Got a couple of interesting rack unit effects to build as well as the usual pedals. I'm building a spring reverb into a rack unit and putting a Guill-o-Tone + Aurora Drive together into another.

Cat-face has been 'helping' in that special way that only cats know how - which basically means sitting on things I need to read, trying to trip me up etc.

Making progress on the Fluidic Space, which is an analogue 4 mode chorus/vibrato.

Making good progress on the Golden Arrow, which is a single Centaur clone.

The colour of this is a lovely powder-blue, similar to a vintage Sonic Blue.

The gorgeous gold sparkle finish Double Arrow was completed and posted this week. It's gone on tour immediately! We just had time to snap a few pics before it was packed up and shipped.
It's a dual Centaur clone.

The latest Tone Rodent is coming along nicely, so here are a few pics with the hardware in place.  Still need to load and wire up the innards, but the enclosure is looking pretty good.

No matter how hard I try, I cannot get a photo of the Blues Blaster that does the colour justice. It's an outrageous flourescent orange and the camera just can't reproduce it. 

So here are a couple of photos of the pedal in soft light.

And here is the closest I can get using the flash. But it's still MUCH brighter than that.  :-)

The BAM BAM is almost finished. Just final testing to do.
It's a 'Double Arrow' with custom graphics - which is TWO Klon clones in one box.

The rather fetching pink Repeater will be on its way to its new home in Sweden.
It's a modified Vox repeat percussion tremolo clone with added depth knob.

Lots going on at BEP HQ at the moment! I've been very busy working on the current batch of orders. 

What are the odds? Two orders for Double Arrow dual Klon Centaur clones at the same time.

Work on the batch of limited edition MSR013 reverb pedals is coming along nicely.
Footswitches, jack sockets and pots have all been fitted. Wiring it all in and final assembly comes next. Then lots of testing.

LOTS going on at the moment. I'm really busy - and I'm not complaining.

I've been making the boards for a Fluidic Space Analogue Chorus, a Vox Repeat Percussion Clone and a Blues Blaster, which is a clone of a Marshall Bluesbreaker MkI.

A lovely dark red sparkle finish Bad MFKR is coming together nicely.

And a couple more nice pics of the A/B box before it goes to its new home - just because.

A custom A/B box built for a bass player who uses both a bass guitar and upright bass. 

There is a passive volume control for each channel and channel 2 has a switchable input impedance (1Mohm/10Mohm).

This wee beauty was completed today. I think you'll agree that it's looking lovely with its matt white finish and matching white knobs.

It is ON! The limited edition version of the Moon Sounds Reverb, with silver sparkle finish and script graphics is available for pre-order now. There are only 5 available, and 3 are already spoken for!

Work is progressing well. The silver sparkle boxes are looking gorgeous and the decals are all printed and ready to go on. All the circuit boards are built so assembly (and lots and lots of layers of lacquer) come next.

There will be another chance to get your hands on one of these awesome reverbs if you miss the limited edition one. We'll be posting information on this soon.

It's just my Twin Peaks dual distortion/reverb pedal spotted at the Big Star Third rehearsal in LA today. No biggie. I'm not even vaguely excited by this. Not even a bit...
