Busy, busy, busy at the moment. I have 17 pedals and 2 rack units on order. Phew!

Flower of Evil fuzz circuit. This is based on the Monolith Oracle and probably my favourite fuzz of all time. It contains two high-gain Mullard OC76 germanium transistors.

Green Russian big muff clone circuit. 

Buzzaround circuit. With on-board voltage inverter (so you can daisy-chain with other pedals) and master volume control. The third transistor will be selected on test.

​Dual delay/reverb pedal. The reverb is the Tiny Dynamine/Moon Sounds reverb. The delay is an analogue-voiced digital delay.

​Aurora Drive. This is a clone of the MkII liquid sunshine overdrive.

​Tiny Dynamine reverb. (Known as the Moon Sounds reverb in the US market.)

I'm making a pedal for someone at the moment, which is a vibrato / 2 stage phaser / rotary.
He has a lot of grey pedals on his board, so he asked for something that would stand out. He specifically wanted swirly and psychedelic - and boy did he get it. We sent him the artwork proof last night and he loves it!

I'm also working on this Danger Bird, which currently doesn't have a home to go to. Shout if you're interested.

I'm working on a 10 pedal order at the moment. The customer bought a VERY expensive custom made multi-effect unit - and just didn't get along with it, so I'm rehousing all the circuits into 7 individual and/or double pedals. He's also having 3 additional BEP pedals built to complete the set.
He really likes the plain metal box finish with Dymo labels, and I think the whole set together on a board will look really good.
Here are two of the pedals I'm building from scratch for him, an MFKR and an Echoes in a Shallow Bay delay.

The latest double arrow pedal in progress. This one has custom graphics. The customer wanted to remember his beloved Siamese cat Rio - and he loves this design.

I'm really happy with the finish on this pedal. Right now it's still an empty box, but it'll be ready for the circuit to go in and wiring up very soon.

The SST - Super Silicon tonebender prototype, with extra controls.

These two arrived at their new home today.

The Double D is a dual delay with one standard and one optimised for shorter, brighter slap-back delays.

The Dawn Chorus is a modified clone of the Boss CE2. It features a stereo output and has switchable intensity modes and a chorus/vibrato switch, to take you into the fast Leslie realm. 
An extra feature is a separate supply rail for the LFO so there's no chance of any errant popping or ticking, which the original was prone to.

One of our pedals is MIA. Stolen to be more accurate, from Sam in Maryland USA, along with everything else on his pedal board.

Please keep your eyes peeled. If this comes up for sale anywhere, it's stolen. This is a one of a kind pedal, so there's no mistaking it for anything else.

I've been working on a nice studio gear job for a customer/friend recently. It's WAY behind schedule because I've been ridiculously busy, but it's finally coming together now and I'm getting back on track.

As these effects wouldn't be gigged he decided to have them built in 19" rack unit enclosures. It's been a steep learning curve for me, cutting out the holes in the metal without access to the heavy-duty industrial tools I used to have (back when I had a day job). 

The first rack contains an Aurora Drive and Guill-O-Tone. The next one will be a spring reverb.
He likes the look of Dymo labels, so that's what we've gone for on the front panel labeling.

I've been working on a couple of new orders.

After a few very productive days, there are four pedals being shipped tomorrow. They'll be winging their way to new owners in the UK, USA and Germany.

The Mourning Cloak, named after a butterfly species, is a somewhat modified violet Big Muff. 

The customer specified all poly capacitors in the signal path, along with a number of other modifications to ensure a tight focused sound. 

There's a 3-way tone contour switch (scooped / flat / boosted mids) and it also uses NOS ME4003 transistors.

I've been working on some modifications for an existing Tone Rodent pedal.
The customer wanted a passive volume control adding to the repeater side and on the fuzz side, a volume recovery stage plus a tonebender mk4 tonestack.

It was a right bugger getting everything to fit in the enclosure. 
I had to add two additional knobs to an already quite crowded pedal. I've installed them so they work logically if you're looking down on the pedal from the front, which is the view you'd have when you're using it. The knobs turn intuitively, so clockwise is up and counter-clockwise is down - as it should be.

The good news is that the passive volume control and volume recovery stage will be standard features going forward.

This is the Gnarly Cat.
It's a dual pedal. It has a clone of the SFT bass overdrive and a boost. Right now, it's just at the decal application stage.

I've been working on the Rocket Overdrive, which is a modified clone of the Rockett Blue Note Overdrive.
The customer asked that the HOT switch be put on a footswitch.

The artwork for this pedal is a bit different to what we'd usually do. Instead of decals we had to print it on photo paper and apply it to the pedal. It's a much more long-winded (and a bit more expensive) process, as we have to try and match the paint colour as closely as possible, which takes time and experimentation. It does enable the customer to have white text and full colour graphics though.

I've been doing a lot of decaling, varnishing and loading of hardware recently.
