It's just my Twin Peaks dual distortion/reverb pedal spotted at the Big Star Third rehearsal in LA today. No biggie. I'm not even vaguely excited by this. Not even a bit...

I get quite a few messages from people asking me to endorse them. The theory is, I give them a free pedal, and in exchange they tell people about Butterfly Effect Pedals. It's a nice idea - and I have tried it, but it just doesn't work.
I've given away quite a few pedals in the past and to date not a single sale has come of it. I'm a VERY small-scale company. Each pedal is made to order, it's not like I have stocks lying around. I make VERY little money from each pedal, as my core belief is to keep them as affordable as possible. I understand that most musicians are not making a lot of money, but nor am I. For every pedal I give away, it's actually a pretty big dent in my earnings. I'm all for mutual advertising, sharing links etc and will happily add you to my website, or allow you to post on my facebook page. There are other ways we can help each other out. Buzzaround I'm really pleased with the finish on my latest completed pedal. Just need to write the user guide and pack it up ready for the trip across the pond to its new owner.
This is a modified version of the original Baldwin-Burns Buzzaround fuzz. It has a extra master volume control, which gives much better control over the overall volume, when adjusting the tone. This pedal has three NKT213 Germanium transistors, the exact type used in the original. There's also an on-board voltage inverter, so it can be daisy-chained with your other effects power supply. |
